This is a no-frills reliable machine for which many parts are still available from LeBlond.
The Trav-A-Dial attachment on the carriage is a real "plus", often referred to as a "poor man's digital readout". It provides a simple, yet effective, method of keeping track of the carriage's position along the longitudinal axis.
The Aloris quick-change tool post is not to be underestimated. It comes with 6 holders, and more styles are available from the manufacturer. Today's replacement cost will give you "sticker shock". Check out the numerous other accessories.
Not being represented as a toolroom machine, it's plenty accurate for most maintenance work and priced realistically. Would also work well in a welding shop.
